6 Signs You Grew Up In Las Vegas.

Las VegasDespite the unbearable heat, Las Vegas boasts of all sorts of romantic destinations, restaurants, shopping malls and holiday destinations. Las Vegas is designed to be a holiday destination where you can sit back and relax to enjoy a variety of sceneries and hotelier experiences. You can also have some quiet time away from the heat and busy city life on the west side where most people live in planned communities. Some of the top hotels that offer luxurious experience include the Venetian, the Bellagio and the Wynn Las Vegas.
If you are looking for a romantic, tasteful and thoughtful engagement experience, then Las Vegas has jewelry stores that offer various types of rare colored diamonds. They include loose diamonds, diamond wedding rings, rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, and watches. Fine dining, spa treatments, sporting activities and shopping experiences are some of the things that draw many tourists to this city. Contrary to the common belief that living in Las Vegas is more of a casinos, drinks, and strip clubs lifestyle, it is actually a place where people can live permanently, work, study and raise their kids.
 Here are some common signs evidenced in someone who has ever lived in Las Vegas;
  • Kids Birthday Parties- some parents would shudder at the thought of raising their children in a city surrounded by alcohol, casinos and all sorts of dangerous lifestyles. Most parents would not believe this but Vegas kids do not party all day and night. Actually the authorities are quite strict about selling alcohol to minors. If you grew up in Vegas you must have been on several field trips and probably a birthday party at Crystal Palace.
  • The tipping etiquette- people who have been to Vegas understand this very well, tipping is essential in the Vegas hospitality industry. A good tip to a valet, hairdresser, waiter and service providers shows that you appreciate their services. Usually most people living in Vegas are in the service industry and have developed a culture of tipping after enjoying services.
  • Three cities in the valley- if you have lived in Vegas then you know that there are only three cities in the valley which are Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson.
  • You probably have potholders in your car-this is usually because of the scorching heat and usually people wait sometime on the parking lot especially during the rush hour to avoid getting their hands sun burnt while driving home.
  • A visit to a strip joint-if you were born and raised in Vegas then  at some point in your life, you must have visited a strip club to have a piece of the action. There are hundreds of strip clubs in Vegas, most people visit them out of curiosity while others are popular regulars.
  • Love of diamonds and jewels-Las Vegas is known to stock some of the best diamond rocks in the market. Since diamonds are known for their aesthetic values, residents of Las Vegas love them. They rely on diamond jewels to compliment their fancy lifestyle.

Sailing Vacations Accessible to All.

For some reason the idea of sailing during a vacation seems like a far-fetched dream for most people. Images of celebrity yachts or perhaps cramped cabins and seasickness seem to be first thing to come to mind. But, sailing is actually quite accessible and you may be surprised to learn what a great way it is to really experience islands and coastal destinations.
Travelers are discovering what people in the boating world have known for a long time: bare-boat charters. A bare-boat charter is essentially like renting a car- you rent a boat and sail it for a specific amount of time, and plan to return it on a certain date. So what’s needed? Well, at least one person on board needs to have sailing experience and certification. This person will be the captain, and will need support from one or more crew members.  Don’t have sailing experience? Consider enlisting the help of a sailing friend or relative!
Perhaps the best part about chartering a boat (or catamaran, for a super luxurious experience), is that it is now much less expensive than in the past. Companies like LateSail Ltd. are doing for boating what Expedia, Orbitz and other online travel agencies do for airlines; they now sell unsold inventory for a fraction of the price. This means that travelers can charter a boat for great per-person rates.
While on board, all accommodations are taken care of. Boat berths are quite comfortable, with very luxurious options available from top boat-makers like Jeanneau and Beneteau. Catamarans generally offer passengers their own ‘suites’, with private bathrooms to boot.
If you’re able to leave on relatively short notice, you can take advantage of even better last-minute rates. And this doesn't mean you have to get to your location within a week. Short notice for bare-boat charters can be up to 6 months.

There’s simply nothing like the sun and fresh sea air to rejuvenate your soul, so if you've always wanted to go on a sailing vacation, now is the time!

NYC's Finest Street Food Locations.

The amount of things to see and do during a holiday in New York means grabbing a bite to eat on the hoof is often something of a necessity. Luckily, it’s not a straight choice of either a hot dog or a slice of pizza, although admittedly in the Big Apple you won’t go wrong with either of those. Fixed stands, mobile vans, and all manner of other forms of transport line the streets, offering an abundance of aromas and tastes to get your mouth watering.
And we’re not talking just burgers or baguettes here – in many cases this is seriously innovative cuisine prepared by first-class chefs. Recipes that have been passed down through generations, and across continents. A history of food basically, in the world’s greatest cultural melting-pot. Service is (generally) friendly, prices are friendlier still, and the grub is often out of this world. Visiting New York soon? Got a healthy appetite? Here are four places you shouldn’t miss.
Red Hook Lobster
The Red Hook Lobster Truck is widely regarded as one of New York’s premier eateries by critics and the public alike. It’s Maine lobster, sustainably sourced and fresh off the boat. Have it on its own, in a roll, a bun, a salad or with chips, and savour the taste because this is some of the best tucker you’ll get in the city. The team are always happy to discuss recipes and cooking methods too, should you decide to buy a live one. A set weekly route is followed, so check online to track them down.
The Milk Truck
Keeping it deceptively simple, the Milk Truck seems to focus on just two items – grilled cheese sandwiches and milkshakes. But there’s a lot of science behind that basic menu, and the ingredients used by this artisan team are defiantly flavoursome. Sourcing meats and cheeses from around the United States, served with a nice selection of sides, and complementing them with zingy milkshake flavours such as Tahitian and Madagascan vanilla bean – this is fine dining on four wheels.
Big Gay Ice Cream
Are you open to experimentation? This van doesn't sell your typical standard 99 cone with a flake. Big Gay Ice Cream combines traditional home-made flavours of ice cream with some outlandish toppings, including sprinklings of wasabi pea dust, olive oil and sea salt, and toasted curried coconut. On a hot day in New York, outside of a leaky fire hydrant, nothing cools you as fast as an ice cream. But not many ice-creams will get your palate tingling too. A definite Gotham highlight.
You should always try to drink responsibly. It’s better for your health, for those around you, and society in general. But, unfortunately accidents do happen, and every now and then you wake up feeling a little rough around the edges. Can’t blame you for that. And if it should happen in New York, perhaps after an evening’s adventures in the Meatpacking District, then make a beeline pronto for Eggs-Travaganza in Midtown. With apologies for the Masterchef-y analogy, their homely Mexican breakfast food will pick you up, sit you back on your stool, spin you round a few times then give you a great big smooch on the kisser. Steak & egg taco. Chorizo fresco with egg and cheese. Home-made pancakes. It’s like a hug on a plate when you’re feeling especially blue.
Now I don’t know about you, but I would say one of the main reason people look forward to going on America holidays is anticipation of the food over there. Yes the portions are large, yes it’s often far from healthy but yes, it’s worth getting excited about.

Rob is a big fan of food and NYC and he just can't going back for more and more helpings of both

Family Breaks To London.

Very few cities have so much on offer for the whole family as London. From world famous landmarks to internationally renowned museums, special events and a rich and varied cultural offering including long running plays, smash hit musicals, concerts and festivals in its parks and squares, riverbanks and on the River Thames itself. All London’s tourist attractions make a very special effort to be accessible for families – to make it them exciting and understandable for the

children whilst making it easy yet interesting for their parents. From the tours around the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace to the amphibious Duck Tours that take in the River Thames and the back roads in the same vehicle, London is as surprising as it is welcoming. Obviously during the day, the seemingly endless  list of museums, and attractions will keep you on the move. I would suggest the Science Museum, Madame Tussauds and the British Museum as a good start offering three very different experiences that will keep even the most inquisitive child’s mind busy! For the animal lover, London Zoo, London Sealife Centre and the Natural History Museum will combine to delight and amaze in equal quantities.
In addition to the Palaces of Westminster and Buckingham, no history lover should leave the city without visiting the Tower of London, the Museum of London or, for a more gruesome take on our history: the London Dungeons!
There are two ways to get a good idea of London’s geography, from the top of one of the many tour buses that circle London throughout the day, or from the top of one of London’s buildings: the newly built Shard (the tallest building in London), the O2 (the old Millennium Dome) which you can now walk across, or the iconic London Eye. During the summer “flights” take place all through the day and into the night: well past 10 o’clock. Each 30 minute rotation gives passengers the chance to examine London as it is spread out before them. Special Champagne flights can give you the opportunity to celebrate something special, but I wouldn’t waste that on the kids!
But after a full day exploring the city, there is only one place you should head to: Theatre land! With over 40 theatres around London’s West End it should not be a surprise for you to hear that London is considered the theatre capital of the world, with only Broadway in New York coming close to challenge for its crown.
This year more than any, family theatre shows are well represented. Most famously Disney’s The Lion King has been playing at the Lyceum Theatre for 13 years now with no signs of ever closing! The stage adaptation is not just a live version of the cartoon: theatrically it is extremely exciting with its inventive use of puppetry bringing to life the plains of Africa and as such is just as much an enjoyable evening out for parents as well as children.
The last two years have seen two Roald Dahl musicals open to critical acclaim. Again the quality of the productions means that they are a great night out for the whole family. In 2011, Matilda, the story of a little girl who discovers she has super powers, written by Australian comedian Tim Minchin,  became an instant success at the Cambridge Theatre and just this year probable Dahl’s most famous book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Add to these shows such as Wicked, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Billy Elliot and Monty Python’s Spamalot and visitors have a wide choice of great shows to choose from that are all good to see.
Lastly it may be useful to give you a few tips on getting tickets to the London shows.
In general the face value of tickets in London are between £15 and £70 with the cheaper tickets high up in the balconies and the more expensive ones being at the front or in the middle of the Stalls or Dress Circle.
Unlike in previous years there are very few shows that are completely sold out every night of the week. So, if you are not too bothered what you want to see and you can see the show on any night of your stay in London, it is quite feasible to delay your purchase of tickets until you arrive in London. When you do, you can either get your tickets from the theatre itself or from the various agents around Leicester Square.
If you want to see a specific show on a specific day (especially if that day is a Saturday or also some Fridays) I recommend you book ahead - you can make it a proper highlight to your trip by booking a London theatre break.
On the day the TKTS ticket booth is the place to head for on the southern side of Leicester Square. It is run by the Society of London Theatres and fees are kept to a minimum with huge discounts on top price seats.  The other booths offering half price tickets need to be approached with caution. Always ask the face value of the tickets because although some shows with be half price, others could have a booking fee of up to 25% on them!
This will tend to be the same at your hotel’s concierge’s desk.
As you can see there are enough shows on in town to go and see a different one every night, and if you plan ahead it is quite possible to keep to a family budget of around £150 per night and still get great seats. But if you want the concierge to do all the work for you and you have very specific requirements, keep £400 for a family of 4 saved for each visit: if you don’t spend it on tickets you will spend it on drinks, programmes and ice creams which are all rather expensive in London theatres.
So I hope you have a super time in London, whatever you decide to do, but whether you are fans of Dahl or Disney or something completely different, I do suggest you save a couple of hours to see a show in London!

Business VS Leisure Travel!

Business travel and tourism, like leisure tourism, has a great impact on the physical environment.  business travel originating from individuals and conference- and incentive-related business contributes a major source of the revenue for large hotel chains.  Like many business skills, planing and learning the tips and tricks can help to make your travel enjoyable, efficient and bypass the many pitfalls.  You may also find that when you're dressed nicely you tend to be treated with more respect on vacation and can even get the update if you ask.

If you're a business traveler about to head off on an international trip, you know you need to have the currency, power converters, and learn the time zone.  One of the most important accessories for the savvy business traveler to pack for their business trips nowadays is a smartphone.  Whether conducting business during all hours of the day, staying in touch with family's

Leisure travel continues steady growth benefiting from aging population with high propensity to travel.   As more and more people came into the classification of middle class and travel and tourism industry became increasingly affordable, leisure travel took off in a big way   is often characterized by staying in nice hotels or resorts, relaxing on beaches or in a room, or going on guided tours and experiencing local tourist attractions. Most meals are eaten out when traveling for pleasure

A great vacation should be all about having fun-and making memories that last a lifetime  If you think a vacation is a luxury that you cannot afford, you better think again.  Humans are subjected to a lot of pressure due to their routines.  But since our bodies can only take too much, we need to give them breaks too.

Bahamas is a constitutional monarchy based on the Westminster system of parliamentary government.  It is the only example of a large open ocean island system lying within the Atlantic Ocean tropics.  It is also home to golf courses that afford views of the ocean and challenging play.  It is also home to numerous aquatic life.  Bahamas has diplomatic relations with  Cuba .

Bahamas is very receptive to U.S. products.  It is famed for its long sandy beaches, clear waters, and spectacular coral reefs.  It are made up of over 700 islands - 30 of which have permanent settlements.  It are islands located off of the coast of Florida.  Bahamas are located only 60 to 100 miles east of South Florida.

The largest island is  Andros Island .  The southeastern most island is  Inagua .  Acklins Island is a relatively undeveloped island that is home to several Lucayan Indian sites, especially along Pompey Bay Beach.  The island is relatively unpopulated and home to several small, rustic villages.  The  weather  on Harbor Island is exceptional.

The weather was perfect and the island was in sight from 30 miles out.  Grand Bahama Island is just 55 miles east of Florida and it has the most family-friendly resorts in the area.  Grand Bahama Island is well known for its year-round warm, tropical climate.  Besides being known for the bustling town of Freeport, Grand Bahama Island is best known for its ecological beauty.  The island is well known for the friendliness of its people, its beautiful clear waters and its secluded beaches.

The island has pink sand beaches, coral reefs just offshore and is known for its diving, snorkeling and sailing opportunities.  But the island is really rocky and the usual Bahamas sand is nonexistent.  The Grand Bahamas Island is a wonderful vacation destination for spring breakers.  Overall, the island is an inviting destination for families looking for that ideal balance of accessibility and authenticity.  Since this island is small, many choose to walk.

Compare Cheap Travel Insurance!

Travel insurance may be purchased for periods of travel as little as 5 days.  It can protect against the loss of non-refundable travel costs, such as airfare, hotel and tour expenses.  It can help facilitate payment, and act as an advocate so that you’re not overcharged because you’re an American.
Coverage can be purchased in a combination of monthly and/or daily periods by paying the appropriate plan cost.  Cancellation Waiver is different from a  Trip Cancellation insurance policy.  We ask because trip cost determines the amount of trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage and affects the premium cost.  Some plans offer trip cancellation & interruption coverage if you miss over 50% of your trip due to the delay.  Cruise and tour operators sometimes  offer Cancellation Waivers – another form of trip cancellation coverage.  For more information about this type of coverage, visit our  Trip Cancellation Insurance section.

This insurance covers medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, personal belongings and personal liability.  A trip cancellation policy will reimburse you for these lost deposits.  For example, most policies now still cover trip cancellation if the U.S. State Department issues a travel warning.  It Cancellation or Interruption protects the financial investment you've made in your travel arrangements.  Trip Cancellation coverage keeps you from losing your vacation savings if you need to cancel for a covered reason.

Nearly all the same reasons you would cancel your trip are covered as a trip interruption.  But even the most carefully planned trip can be complicated by unforeseen events.  Remember, no matter how well planned your trip is, the unexpected can and often does occur.  It Cancellations and Travel Delays due to blizzards and ice storms have derailed or shortened many vacations.  Roughly speaking, a $5,000 trip will put you back $200 to $400.

With so much money at stake, such a trip might be worth insuring, Sometimes cancelling a trip is inevitable.  Our insurance plans help protect you if your trip is delayed due to disorderly civil conditions at the destination.  Booking your trip is only part of planning a great vacation. www.mason.globaltravel.com

Welcome TO Kingston Jamaica!

Kingston Jamaica provides a wealth of on-site services and activities to help create the perfect vacation.  Miami-Dade County signed a Sister Cities agreement with the city of Kingston Jamaica.  Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica, was born after an earthquake in the city of Port Royal in 1692.  Kingston, the capital and largest city in Jamaica, is a bustling  night life.

The city is on the  Liguanea  Plain, alongside the Hope River.  The birth of  hip-hop  in New York City owed much to the city's Jamaican community.  The city is situated between the Blue Mountain Peak and Spanish Town, offering culture, shopping, music and other activities.

Some of the residential districts are simply beautiful, while the central high-rises suggest a modern city anywhere in North America.  Construction on King Street in the city was the first area to breach this building code.  The core of the old city is a consciously planned rectangle with streets in a grid pattern.  Local buses can be caught at any of the bus stops along the city roads. ,  If you booked your Kingston flights www.mason.globaltravel.com to experience the vibrant nightlife then Quad night club is for you. yes run away from your hotel room and go enjoy the nightlife of kingston city, The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel has  a restaurant, a lounge, and  a poolside bar .  The hotel is near to, parks ,supermarket, Restaurant , buses , and so much in the area.  The hotel restaurant was impressive as well.

All guests staying in hotel guestrooms must be registered with the hotel.  The 143 air-conditioned guestrooms at Knutsford Court Hotel include  safes  and  hair dryers .  The 108 air-conditioned guestrooms at The Spanish Court Hotel include  iPod docking stations  and  safes .  With sweeping views of the pool, the Spanish Court Hotel Kingston offers air-conditioned rooms with free wireless internet access.  The Spanish Court Hotel Kingston provides a convenient on-site café.

I've stayed at this hotel twice while in Kingston and Spanish Court never disappoints.  The Altamont Court Hotel is situated in the heart of New Kingston.  Additional attractions near this romantic hotel include  Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Library  and  Kings House .  One of the best, if not the best hotel in Kingston.  These partners may vary by individual hotel, as featured near the top of each hotel page.

You'll love the vibes of Kingston and it people, from the music, To the dance, sport and much more.

My Encounter With Brazil!

I still can't believe that I remember my first trip to Brazil, It was so amazing that i stll remember the date, July 10th 2006.

One month ealier, my boss told me to take a 2 week vacation I didn't know what to do , or where to go. I wanted to think Big, and go somewhere amazing. My Wife and I started to brain  storm "Brazil!" my wife said. " Brazil ? " I responded. " yes it will be exciting, and plus we've never been there before". I took her word and booked the tickets. We were right on time. We had a lot to do before our vacation. My wife was so excited. We was staying at a resort in Rio de Janeiro.

We were even more excited since we had a late flight. However, we did not have the chance to do anything on the first day because we were so tired. The second day is when our Vacation started. On the second day we went to visit the statue of Rio.

That was the first thing we checked off of our list. It was big and Beautiful. We only had one week left and we wanted to explore as many places and things as possible. Up next was the Tour to Buzios. After the tour we went to the Beach, and took a long walk on the boardwalk. Every day we saw something new.

If you know me at all you would know that I could not go to one of the most famous countries for football and not visit one of their stadiums. So while I was there my wife and i visited Maracana. Rio De Janeiro is the proud owner of the world most famous football stadium, the Maracana Stadium which is Brazil’s largest stadium. The stadium hosted the 1950 World Cup Final where Uruguay defeated Brazil in front of almost 200,000 people. This stadium is also the playground for world famous stars such as Ronaldo, Romario, Sócrates, Cafu, and many more.

On the last day it was bitter sweet feeling, we were sad that we had to leave, but excited that we enjoyed our time.

In my overall opinion, Brazil is an amazing place to visit, From the room service to the areas.

Time To Take Your Vacation.

"Yes there will be a lot of traveling this year, whether by bus, plain, car or a cruise vacation,  which ever one you choose, taking a vacation is a time to get away and spend time with family. it's about time that you think of taking one, traveling is fun it releases the stress from your every day life... When you are on your vacation imagine not having anything to do. You have all the time to eat, sleep, enjoy the beach and even take a mountain ride, there are so many things to do while you are on vacation.
                                 WHERE TO GO TO?
Now that's a good question! What are you looking for ? What fun are you looking to have? Every destination have something to offer, and you have to consider your expenses. But my suggestion to you is to try a bed and breakfast. B&B can be inexpensive and fun. statistics shows that more north Americans are choosing B&B accommodation rather than a hotel  stay, at times B&B can be very on comfortable, at the most B&B is a renovated
home, mansion or a small hotel and every bed and breakfast is different

a lot of amenity you'll not get at a B&B stay.
